Dr. Steven M. Wexler

Dr. Steven Wexler is a licensed clinical marriage & family therapist with Washington State.  He has been counseling for over 30 years in various settings. His counseling orientation is Christian based with an approach that is eclectic, meaning a wide variety of treatment techniques and approaches dealing with beliefs, thoughts, feelings, values and behavior patterns and interpersonal dynamics.

Dr. Wexler has his Doctorate in Marriage and Family Counseling from Denver Seminary Graduate School; He is a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists; Board Certified with the American Association of Christian Counselors; He is ordained as a Senior Pastor. He is a retired USAF Lt. Col. with 28 years of service.

Deana Enebo-Short, M.A. LMHC.

Deana obtained a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Seattle Pacific University.  In 2002 she earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon.  She completed level one and two training in EMDR in 2005.

Deana’s treatment approach is eclectic, meaning a wide variety of treatment techniques and approaches are utilized dealing with beliefs, thoughts, feelings, values and behavior patterns and interpersonal dynamics.  My practice philosophy is informed by the bio-psycho-social, cognitive behavioral and interpersonal theories, client centered, solution focused therapy, EMDR, Play therapy and sand tray.  My underlying values as a person and as a therapist are Christian.  The course of treatment for each client is dependent upon individual factors and may be discussed at any time.

Kim Mayes-Kessell

Kim Mayes-Kessell, MA, has 12 years experience in the mental health field and additional years in other areas of health care. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Seattle University in Humanities (1985) and completed her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at City University of Seattle in 2007.  She is a licensed Washington State Mental Health Counselor Associate, a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and the American Counseling Association. 

She specializes in anxiety, depression, relationship transitions, adolescent mental health issues, pre-marital and marital counseling.

Kim uses several therapy techniques (cognitive-behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, inner healing, psycho-dynamic, and family therapy) to help clients discover healthy personal boundaries and overcome negative thinking patterns.  In addition to talking therapy she offers homework outside of the sessions so clients can gain insight, practice new skills and rehearse new behaviors.  She is experienced in facilitating adult and youth support groups, crisis intervention, family reconciliation, and anger management.  She provides counseling services to individuals and families with emotional, psychological, and behavioral concerns.

Kim's goal is to help clients find their inner strengths, manage their shortcomings, and design more rewarding and joyful futures.
